How Do I Euthanize My Own Cat

Euthanize come from the word Euthanasia, which means a pain free and stress free death. You do not euthanize your cat by poisoning it because the cat will go through a series of suffering experience before it actually passed on.

Alternatively, you can buy a Euthanasia solution that is used by the vet to put a pet with a chronic disease that cannot be cured to “sleep” ending its sufferings. However, the euthanasia solution can only be administered by a veterinarian in practice that posses a license because the solution is a controlled substance.

If you want to euthanize your cat, you have to make sure that it is having a disease that cannot be cured, a chronic disease that it is better for it to “sleep” than continue living with the suffering that come from the disease. You don’t simply euthanize cat because you can’t take care of it anymore that is plain inhumane.

You will need to take care of your cat and if you are a having a curable chronic disease, you should not give up. If there is a chance for your cat to be cured you should definitely take a chance to it. If you cat is suffering from a chronic disease that cannot be cured anymore and acting differently, you will have to euthanize it to prevent it from suffering more.

It is best that you consult with your vet before making any final decision. You need to know that your final decisions means that the cat will take the shot that will put the to “sleep” forever. When the decision is made, you will need to prepare yourself emotionally because if the cat is your pet and you love your cat it will be hard to let go forever.

Although there is enough reason to euthanize your cat, even though it is painless it is still arguable that you, in fact, kill your own cat. We accepted the cat into our life when we adopted them and brought them home. We feed them, we played with them and when it have a chronic disease instead of doing our best to take care of them until their last breath, we end it for them in a quicker way.
